The Bowery Mission Women's Center at Heartsease Home is a unique place of hope and healing for 17 women. Opened in 2005 in a stunning Upper East Side brownstone, the Women’s Center is a safe place that respects the dignity and human worth of women who have been abused, addicted and homeless. The structured program provides spiritual grounding, economic empowerment, and emotional equipping, helping women see the possibilities of a new life.
